Join us for our March event as Kathryn Jamieson and Jennifer Adams present “Healing Hands – Medicine During the World Wars”.

Canadian nurses during World War I

Nursing is the most prominent role that Canadian women played at the front in Europe both in the First and Second World Wars. Over 2000 women enlisted as nursing sisters in the Canadian Expeditionary Force during WWI.

Kathryn Jamieson is Curator Manager and Jennifer Adams is Project Coordinator both with the Goulbourn Museum.

This event is open to everyone, with free admission, ample parking and refreshments will be served after the presentation.
